1860s Family Fun Day

October 16 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join us at the Horace Greeley House for an afternoon of history, crafts, and games. The days events will feature a member of the 125th NY Volunteer Infantry who will be available to discuss the daily life of a soldier during the Civil War along with a small camp display and artifacts. The 125th NY is a group of “living historians” or re-enactors who are dedicated to educating the public about the American Civil War, and in particular those who served in Company “C” of the original 125th NY.

The fall event will also include old-fashioned games for the whole family and crafts for kids (and adults too!). To satisfy your sweet tooth, we’ll be having a bake sale with tasty homemade treats, and apple cider.

Admission to the event is free – donations are welcome
