Join us for an evening of whisky and history at the New Castle Historical Society’s Greeley House.
This exclusive evening begins with a reception and tour of the historic Greeley House. Enjoy hors d’ouvres and a signature Ardray highball cocktail while you explore the summer home of 19th century newspaper publisher and politician Horace Greeley, his wife Mary, and their two daughters. New Castle Town Historian Gray Williams will be on hand to share the history of the Greeley family and their life here during the 1860s and early 1870s.
This will be followed by a guided tasting of fine Scotch whiskies led by award winning ambassador Simon Brooking, who has more than 25 years of whisky industry experience. The tasting will highlight a special selection of notable whiskies from across Scotland, from the Lowlands, Highlands, Speyside, and magical island of Islay.
Tickets are $75 per person, and all proceeds from this event support programming at the New Castle Historical Society. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win a rare limited edition bottle, valued at over $500.
Seating is limited, so book your tickets today! All attendees must be over 21 years of age.
