Each year, the Society relies on numerous volunteers to help with a variety of projects including: organizing the annual house tour, becoming a museum educator for visiting schools and the general public, assisting with administrative duties (social media, website updating, etc.), and providing special event assistance for a total of about 5,000 hours.

Members and friends of the Society are encouraged to get involved and volunteer. We are always looking for volunteers no matter what age, background, or amount of time you have to offer. Becoming a member is a wonderful way to learn more about the Society, to meet fellow history enthusiasts, and most importantly, to contribute to the Society’s mission.
