Join us for New Castle Historical Society’s Annual Meeting and Talk on Sunday, April 26 at 2pm at the New Castle Community Center. The talk will be presented by quilt expert Peggy Norris and New Castle Town Historian Gray Williams, who will discuss a jewel of the New Castle Historical Society collection: the 1903 Patriotic Quilt by Sarah Birdsall Griffith. This illuminating talk will weave together local stories and a celebration of 250 years of American history!

Following the talk, the Patriot Quilt will be on display at the New Castle Historical Society for attendees to view in person. It can also be seen Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 11am – 3pm, through July 4 as part of our 60th Anniversary exhibition, The Stories We Share.
